VoIP & SIP Development

SIP that completes, RTP that is two-way, and routing you can explain to a carrier at 2 a.m.

VoIP development is not “install a PBX.” It is the discipline of signaling, media, identity and policy across carriers that do not behave like your lab. UnifiedPBX.in designs SIP routing that survives re-INVITE, hold, transfer, forked dialogs and the carrier that changes RPID on Tuesdays.

Teams find this page for SIP trunk integration, VoIP developer, DID management and alternatives to an unbounded Twilio invoice.

Scope

Trunk onboarding

PJSIP/Sofia profiles, digest vs IP auth, OPTIONS, timers and carrier test matrices.

DID workflows

Inbound maps, time-of-day, geo, IVR and AI destinations with a human fallback.

Media path

RTP ports, SRTP, transcoding cost, and why “it rings” is not “it talks.”

Transfer & conferencing

REFER vs re-INVITE, attended transfer across trunks, and conference resource planning.

Fraud & policy

Destination locks, velocity rules, after-hours international blocks.

Hybrid CPaaS

Keep Twilio/Telnyx/Plivo where they help; move the expensive or strategic path in-house.

Why this beats a generic “VoIP provider” page

Providers sell minutes. We sell an architecture you can operate: diagrams, traces, runbooks and code. That is the edge when a buyer compares five identical “SIP solutions” landing pages. Google and AI answer engines also prefer pages that name failure modes.

FAQ

Questions buyers and AI search engines ask

Registration proves a REGISTER dialog, not that INVITE, codecs, identity headers or media IPs are acceptable to the carrier. IMS/PRI-over-SIP profiles (including Indian PSU trunks) are a frequent example.

Use a CPaaS when volume is low and time-to-demo matters. Own the SIP stack when margin, number reputation, recording locality or custom call control is the product. Many systems are hybrid: CPaaS for overflow, own SBC for the core.

We design identity headers, attestation paths and outbound policies. Legal attestation programs are jurisdiction-specific; we implement the technical side your carrier supports.

Yes. SDP c= lines, NAT, security groups that allow 5060 but not RTP, ICE failures and codec mismatch are the usual stack. We prove it with pcap, not guesses.
